JOSEPH P SAULSKI
More Than Just an Attorney
Joseph P. Saulski has over a decade of experience in bankruptcy and litigation, and specializes in Chapter 13 restructuring plans that allow people to retain more of their property.
Prior to establishing the Michigan Bankruptcy Headquarters, Mr. Saulski was an attorney in several prominent law firms including Hyman Lippitt, P.C., Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, in Detroit; Wasinger, Kickham and Hanley, in Royal Oak; and Young & Susser, in Southfield where he concentrated in complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy. Earlier, he served as clerk for Chief Justice Maura Corrigan at the Michigan Supreme Court and previously served as a pre-hearing attorney with the Michigan Court of Appeals. While in law school, Mr. Saulski was selected a King Fellow and Editor-in-Chief of the school’s prestigious law review publication.
INTERESTING INSIGHTS
Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Saulski served ten years in the United States Marine Corps where he obtained the rank of major and was a fighter pilot flying AV-8B Harriers in the infamous Blacksheep Squadron.
Mr. Saulski is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is admitted to practice in Federal District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. He also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the Consumer Bankruptcy Association.
